We picked our 2 older kids up from camp on Friday evening. On the way home my son said he shed a few tears when opening his mail a couple mornings. I said that's okay it was his first time away like this and I thought he did great!
Then my 8 year old daughter said...
"Yea mom I tried to cry a couple times to
see if I missed you, but I just couldn't do it"
Oh I laughed and laughed.
If you only knew this girl it was exactly what I would have expected her to say!

Like I said Monday morning we dropped off 2 kids at camp.
In the afternoon my 3 yr. old comes over to me with a pouty look and said
"Mom, when Chi Halee coming home? I weally weally miss dem".
How cute is that!!!

I LOVE this necklace.
Before I received it I had no jewelry with my kids names or birthstones on it. It's very special to have something like this! Around the edges are my 4 kids names. I had 22 spaces to work with so I used some of their nicknames. Then it also shows my kids birthstones with bead charms, which is so pretty.

To top all that off it comes packaged so beautifully. The necklace comes in the little round tin and is also inside the pretty pink bag. It makes it so perfect for a gift to anyone!

Meal Plan Monday

After a busy weekend of camping
we're ready to get back in the swing
of things. I have all my kiddos back
and my older 2 had a blast at camp
last week!
Here's our plan this week...
Monday -- Tacos
Tuesday -- Grilled Chicken, baked potatoes, fried zucchini
Wednesday -- Blt's with garden tomatoes!!, pasta salad,fruit
Thursday -- Grilled Steak, twice baked potatoes, veggies
Friday -- Out or leftovers
Saturday -- Pizza night
Sunday -- Whole chicken fryer in crock pot

Weekly Groceries

I only went to Kroger this week.
I was in a different town and they didn't have a Meijer.
Since Meijer didn't look so hot I decided not to make an extra trip!

I got 50 items for $40.00 Even!! Saving 65%
That's .80 cents each!

I did the Mega Sale the max 3 times!
I stocked up on 6 bags of shredded cheese. I also stocked up on granola bars, chex mix, fruit bowls, and cookies for camping!
I spent $3.xx earlier in the week at CVS for milk and other goodies!
I'll spend the remainder of my $55. budget for meat at my local butcher!
