Weekly Groceries

We're back... Here's my finds!

At Aldi I spent $17.30 on produce and a few can items.
Then at Meijer I spent $15.01 and $9.78
I also spent $6.03 at Walgreens.

I was able to use my Walgreens RR at Meijer with
NO PROBLEMS!!
It scanned just like a manufacturer coupon and
since it IS a manufacturer coupon that makes sense!!!

I also spent $5.47 at CVS on 3 gallon of milk earlier in the week

That makes my total
this week $53.59

I feel well stocked, so we'll see
how the rest of the month goes!

From Scratch...

Sarah over at 8-Muddy Boots is reporting each
Thursday how she did each week making things from scratch!

I started my journey on this back in November.
I started with this bread and have not looked back!

I am loving trying to add something new each week that I
used to buy in a box or already made from the store.

This week I continued to work on my pizza sauce. I can't wait
until garden season when I will can my own tomato sauce!
I also made a honey syrup that was delicious on this homemade
french toast.

If you don't make much from scratch, don't be afraid to dig in.
Take 1 item per week and figure out a way that works for you to
make it from scratch. I really don't think I spend much more
time in the kitchen than I used to! It's cheaper and so much more delicious!

Kroger 3/2 or 3/4

I won't be stopping in, but it looks like you can
score a few good deals.

Kmart Super Doubles

Just a heads up, it sounds like Kmart
will be starting their Super Doubles again!

The first date is the week of 4/4 for select Kmart's.
Keep your fingers crossed that yours (and mine!) are included!

If you're new to Super Doubles at Kmart, it means
that they double coupons up to $2.00. A $2. coupon
gives you $4.oo off the product!!
