Blog Hop -- Art Work!

I have No art work of my own to show you.
I have NO talent in that area.

But my 11 yr. old son LOVES it.
He's been out in our shop for weeks now
painting everyone pictures for Christmas!!!

This one he did with his Grandma for a calender contest!
I don't think she helped much but he was definitely coached!!!

This is one of the Christmas Presents he did all by himself.
I love his winter scenes!!

And this one was done by Halee my 8yr old.
She was also coached by her Grandma on this one too.
Halee doesn't love painting nearly as much as Malachi but
she still likes it!

Thanks for letting me brag!!!
Have a great time hopping around
enjoying artwork!!

MckLinky Blog Hop - Encouragment

I have to tell you my Oldest Son Encourages me
so much to be in my Bible and to learn more.
It is amazing how well he knows his Bible. He just loves it
and I believe God has big plans for him.
He has a heart of GOLD!!
***
The other day we were in the car on the way to church. Somehow I brought up how far the East is from the West and hubby and I started discussing it. A little bit later Chi piped up and said here is the verse in the Bible that talks about it.
Psalm 103 verse 12
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
It's a very encouraging verse in its self.
But how many of us could find it with in minutes WITHOUT any concordance or reference of any kind.
I knew that verse was in the Bible but I would have no idea where. Maybe that says more about me but I believe these little hearts can retain and learn more of God's word than we might think!

He encourages me often with how much he knows and
makes me strive to know more!
***
I encourage all of you to make sure your kids are learning and reading God's word. You'll be amazed at how much their little minds can remember and know!
