Kroger is running a sale where if you buy 10 items they take off $5. instantly. The prices I am listing is AFTER the $5. comes off. You can mix and match any items.

Swiss Miss .50cents-- my coupons from Sunday for Swiss Miss disappeared but I think that there is one out. Still a great price. We love Swiss Miss so I will likely buy at least 10 of these!

Betty Crocker Cookie Mix 1.50- .40MQ tripled = .30each

General Mills cereal 1.50 - $1./2 = $1. each...these look like small boxes but not too bad of a deal

Betty Crocker fruit snacks 1.50- .50/2MQ= .75 each

Orville Reden popcorn- 1.50 - .40MQ= .30 cents

Duncan Hines Frosting 1.00 using MQ for frosting and cake mix this will be .60 cents each.
Duncan Hines cake mix (not included in deal but on sale for $1.) --I have Q for .75 cents off when you buy frosting and cake mix. makes them .60cents each

Scotch Brite Scrubber .50 - $1./2= FREE

Dial Soap 1.00- .30 MQ= .10cents

Zatarians rice mix 1.00- .75/2= .60 cents

Betty Crocker potatoes 1.00- .35MQ= FREE

Snickers icecream bars 2.00- 1.00MQ= 1.00

Weekly Meals 11-2

Here is what we are planning to eat this week...

Sunday-- We had grilled hamburgers, pasta salad, and chicken rice sides (Halee loves this) ..The weather was so nice we had to grill. Looks like we have until Friday to enjoy the warm weather!!

Monday-- Tacos with all the fixins', leftover pasta salad

Tues.--noodles with grilled chicken over mashed potatoes, baked beans, and corn

Wed.--pancakes and eggs

Thurs.--Chili over baked potato with sour cream and cheese

Friday--leftovers????

Saturday--Homemade pizza

There is only a few deals this week. The real place to be is Kroger this week. I hope to post something tomorrow after the real ad comes out.

Doritos 1/2 off. anyone know the reg. price of these. I'd like to stock up to make some taco salads with some catalina dressing that's going to exp!!

Sargento cheese shreds 1/2 off-- I read that Kroger has their cheese at 1.67 this week so that might be a better deal. Anyone know the reg. price of sargento cheese?

Kraft singles $2. - .50doubled = $1.

Club crackers 1/2 off use $1./2MQ ==should be a good price???

Walgreens also only has a couple of deals...

Wrigleys gum 15 stick is b1g1 use b1g1 MQ and get both for free. I just looked and I have 5 of those MQ...yipee 10 more packs of gum!!

Schick Quattro disposable razors are 5.99 each. use b1g1 MQ and stack with $3./1 ESQ for both free...looks like it's good on mens or womens razors.

Celestrial Tea is 2/$3.---use $1.MQ and stack with $1./2 ESQ for both free-----I can't seem to locate this MQ...wonder where I'm missin it???


Well what did I miss...

CVS 11-2

Well after having no internet yesterday, I'm back and the internet guys have it fixed for now. I'm not sure the problem is completely fixed but we'll keep our fingers crossed!

CVS is pretty slim pickens this week. I only see a couple deals but luckily one of the deals has overage so that should help a little with my milk!

Crest Prohealth 3.49 get 3.49 ECB back also use .75 MQ for overage (limit 2)

Icecubes Gum is $1. and included in the buy $10. get 5 ECB --use the $1./2 MQ to get it for free. That is if you have 5 MQ....I had 4 MQ so I got 8 packs of gum and 2 packs of twizzlers for $1. Not bad!!

Well as sad as it is, that's all I see. What did I miss?? I think the upcoming weeks at CVS are better.
Guess it's a good thing Kroger is pretty good this week!

Meijer--Wow!!

Meijer was awesome this week which reminds me that I didn't post the Meijer deals for this week!Sorry... There really are only a couple but they are well worth the trip!

I got all this for a total of $24.xx and got a $2. catalina back!!

How did this happen?? Well overage from taco shells, jello, and glade gel warmers!

this week if you buy 2 boxes of jello (.50cents each) and use the 1.50 mealbox Q you get .50cents overage for every 2 boxes you buy.

Also if you buy taco bell taco shells (20%off) and use the 1.50 mealbox q you will earn .50 cents overage for every box you buy. The problem is that they took that Q off of the mealbox site.

Third great deal is for Glade scented gel warmers. they are 4.49 each and you get a 4.00 cat. for each one you buy. also there is a b1g1 MQ out for these. I had 4 of them so I bought 8 warmers used 4 b1g1 MQ. total was 19.xx with tax and I got $32. back in cats to use for whatever!! awesome!

other good deals
steamfresh birds eye veggies are 3/$4. use $1/2 mealbox and .35 MQ = .27cents
dole salad is 5/$5. use this Q for $1./1 to make it free

other things to look for might be plastic wrap 1.19, eggs 1.00, meijer popcorn 1.25,
also if you buy 2 oreos for $5. you get a gallon of milk free,
kelloggs cereal/poptarts are 4/$10 --buy 4 get $2. off instantly--not bad because the frosted flakes that I got are the big 23oz.box

There is so much packed into this chapter, I only pick out a couple verses each day. Be sure to read it today!

Kmart Super Doubles

Well I've never really shopped at Kmart until today!

Sturgis, Mi. is participating in the super doubles which means they double any coupon up to and including $2.00 this makes $2.oo MQ a whopping $4.00

While I was hoping for more I think I did pretty well for almost no research work. I just stopped in with my binder and used some of my $1-2. coupons. The shelves were wiped clean of several items I was going to get but I was able to get 4 lotions and 2 hairsprays which I actually somewhat needed!

I paid .50cents for each box of Kashi and .99cents for each Resolve and then like .20 cents for a few other items. Most of it was completely free.

My total was $8.68 ($1.68 tax) for these 17 items which is .51 cents per item!

I was hoping to use a $5./50 but the cashier made me put each coupon with the item and took the coupon off right after he scanned the item. So my total was always very little. Total before coupons was well over $50.00.

I love that song...I don't want to gain the whole world and lose my soul...
We must not put ourselves first we must deny ourselves.

Early peek of a couple things I see for this week at CVS. It doesn't look like a great week to me but their are a couple things great for overage which for me means more free milk!!

Shad gets stitches

Well for the first time Shad had to go to the ER. Micah, his loving brother, slammed a door and it hit Shad right in the lip. It was a pretty big gash so off to the ER we went.

We were seen right away and in less than an hour we were out of there with 2 stitches in his lip. Here is the poor boy smiling away. He is such a tough kid he cried the 2 min. it took to stitch and then back to a smiling boy. He took no pain medicine afterwards and slept a full 12 hours last night! He's been completely crazy and full of energy today so I guess he is just fine!

BTW the Dr. gave the tools he used to Shad to take home is this odd or what???? It's been at least 4-5 years since we've been to the ER but it seemed a little odd to me, fill me in!!
