Pantry Challenge

I had planned to extend my pantry challenge through
January. So when I read Money Saving Mom was
doing a pantry challenge I jumped on board!!

My Rules
1. Allowed to buy produce, dairy, and eggs
2. Anything super cheap or FREE
3. Hope to spend less than $100. for the whole month of January
4. Possibly spend the extra $$ we save on shoes/clothes for the kids

I'm not sure that this will be very hard.
I really NEED to use up some food...
But a month is a long time so we'll see!

I always keep the Bayer $30/1 coupons on hand.
(buy them from Ebay) I Usually buy them when
there is not a current deal going on. They always
raise the price on them since more
people want them during a deal!

Meal Plan Monday

We had two great Christmas's and
have 1 more big Christmas over New Years.

Our menu is still out of the ordinary for another
week, then things should get back to normal or as normal
as they get around here!


Monday -- Pizza (since we didn't have it over the weekend)(we go through pizza withdraw if we skip this weekly meal!!!)

Tuesday -- Meatballs (I made them several weeks ago and then froze the extras), potatoes, veggies, and applesauce

Wednesday -- Tomato Soup and grilled cheese

Thursday -- Chicken, potatoes, veggies (not sure how I'll do the chicken yet)

Friday -- Christmas with hubby's side

Saturday -- Christmas with hubby's side (fun 2 day event)!

Sunday -- Hamburgers with potatoes and carrots
