QOTW - How far to Church??

Random Question of the Week.
**
How far do you drive to Church??

I'm curious because we drive a long way...
We drive about 35 minutes to church.

As a kid growing up I never remember driving any less than 20 minutes. There are churches closer but this is where we feel led to be right now. ((I won't lie I wish it was about 30 minutes closer!!!))
**
So if you go to church,
How far do you drive??????

We have just a 5 minute drive. I do not like being in the car so that is about all I would have the patience for so we are very fortunate to live so close :D

My old church was about a 30 minute drive when we moved. We decided to find something closer. We now drive about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

Our church is about 10 minuets away. If God is leading you to this church then of course this is where you need to be.
Have a great week!

The church that we are going to at the present time is 20 minutes away.

Sometimes I wish it were closer to us so that we could be more involved and not waste so much gas and time in driving back and forth.

However, we are where God wants us to be so we are just making the best of the situation. :)

I have about a 30 second drive to church. Yes, seconds. It's a 5 minute walk (usually a little longer with the boys not being speed walkers ;), but we really love walking to church.

We drive 15-20 min. Thirty minutes does not seem too bad, but could be a bit of a pain if your really involved in your church.

I can walk there in about 10 minutes. It's right down the street and about 3 minutes from our house!

It is only a 10 minute drive but by the time I strap two girls in, drive there, unpack the girls, the diaper bag, my Bible and the nursery laundry - carry it all inside = more like 20 - 25 minutes. (my hubby does the sound booth so he has to leave 1 hour earlier - otherwise he would be helping with all this and could accomplish it in 15 minutes)Needless to say we are almost always late for Sunday School!

We were traveling 40 minutes to our church until last October. We opened a campus in our town so it's a 15 minute drive depending on construction now. We have live music but watch the message on video from the Saturday night service. We have grown exponentially this year and will be starting our second service in October. Too many people is an awesome problem! We're able to do so much more service to our congregation without the long drive. We can even drive separately and not be concerned about gas mileage.

Second post...

We had tried other churches after the birth of our first child when I didn't want to travel so far and we just kept going back.
That was 6 years ago!
