Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Meijer changed the wording on their Mealbox coupons and it seems you can now combine them again with MQ and you can use more than 1 per transaction. At least the coupon no longer gives those stipulations. Anyone else had better luck with Mealbox coupons lately??? ***
My purpose is that they may be incouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
I wasn't always a golfer, but when I married one I took it up and it is REALLY FUN!!!
Last year during one of our mini-camping trips, we found a little par 9 course that actually let us take all four of our kiddos golfing. We had a blast... I don't think we disturbed the course too much!
As you can see my 2 yr old took off his shoes... He couldn't help but play in EVERY sand bunker!!
My 10 yr. and 6 yr. old really like to golf.
My daughter however not so much! Well it really just depends on the day. Man that girl is moody.. yea she's only 8.....
The last few weeks I've just flipped my Bible open and whatever I read I trust this is what God must want me to post this week!
I opened my Bible to Jeremiah 51 and read verse 46
Do not lose heart or be afraid when rumors are heard in the land; one rumor comes this year, another the next, rumors of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler.
I thought... God is this really what you want me to post on ... rumors???
So I decided to flip somewhere else and guess what I turned to
Proverbs 26 Verse 20
Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel dies down.
Once again I'm in awe of God's Awesome power!
Be careful what we let our ears hear and
especially what our mouth pass along.
Now it's your turn! What has God been teaching you lately. Do you have a prayer request? Do you have a Bible verse that has stuck out to you? Even just words of encouragement. I would love to hear from you!
Just post on your blog, then come back here and sign the linky below.(You are welcome to use my banner if you'd like)
You can even just leave your words or prayer request here as a comment. We'd love to know how to pray for you. If you don't want to elaborate just let us know you have an unspoken prayer request. We can still pray for you because God already knows
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

I was excited to try some fun products from PakNak!
You're probably wondering what a PakNak is...
Taken from their site here, PakNaks are fun soft rubbery 3-D decorations for kids (or adults too) to personalize all their stuff. Lunch bags, Backpacks, headbands, Computer bags, household items, the list is only limited by your imagination!
We received 3 of these in the mail. Immediately the kids wanted the PakNak's out of the plastic bags. They didn't even know what they were but they loved them already!!
After I showed them what they were, they put one on their backpack and one on a headband. My 2 yr. wouldn't have it, he went and got his packback (as he says it) and wanted the last one on his pack!
It was so cute. They were a real hit here!
I would love to have a bunch of these in my gift closet. It would be so cute to add one of these to birthday gifts on the package!
You don't have to iron or sew these on. Just stick them and go.
The bottom part has a super stong adhesive that sticks and then the top part goes on the bottom with a velcro. Each PakNak has 2 parts, that way they are all interchangeable! My kids and I thought these we're really cool!!
Yep You guessed it...

For the topping...
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 oz. (6 Tablespoons) butter, softened
1/3 cup sugar
I doubled the topping for the 9x13 and next time I will triple...
Hey I love this part!!!

Make the filling -- mix blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and salt in a bowl. Put it in a 8" baking dish. (I used a 9x13 and it worked great)
-- Make the topping -- Stir together flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugar in a mixer until pale and fluffy. Stir dry ingred. into butter. Using your hands, squeeze topping pieces together into clumps.
