Kmart Super Doubles - Matchups!

Update... I found a great list of coupon matchups here at It's Hip To Save!
Get your coupons ready and have FUN!!

CVS & Walgreens 6-7

Since we've been gone for a couple days I'm being lazy!!
Check out It's Hip to Save this week for all the CVS and Walgreens Matchups!
At CVS I see $5. overage for the Monitor, Free Gillette Shaver, and .25 cent Dawn.
The Gillette and the Dawn coupons are in tomorrow's paper so be sure to pick one up.
At Walgreens I have a $10. RR from last week. It looks like I can roll that into Chips Ahoy (My family will love me), Carmex, and Johnson's Baby Powder!
If you see a great deal leave a comment and let us know!!

Buddy Coupon

Johnson's has a new $3./3 Printable out.
Go here to print in IE and here for Fire Fox
If you've never used these coupons before, you should be able to take it to Walmart and get 3 Johnson's Buddy bars for free.
(You'll find them in the Baby Dept. for around .97 cents each)
My kids love these bars!

Kmart Super Doubles

We just got home from camping,
Of course I one of the first things I did was turn on my computer!
Only to find some great news...
KMart is having Super Doubles again!!!
I thought I'd let everyone know just in case you haven't already heard!
Go here to see if your KMart is participating
Starts Sunday June 7
Now unfortunately this time they are only taking 10 MQ at a time.
Deal Seaking Mom has the news here but basically these are the rules.
***They will double Manufacturer Coupons up to $2
***Does not include Kmart Store Coupons
***Does not include Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons
***Does not include copies of manufacturer coupons (I think this is talking about copies NOT Internet printables) I'm not sure why that's mentioned...NO ONE takes copies???
***Limit 10 total coupons per customer per day
***Doubled up to current retail price of a single item -- ((no overage, but they never did)).
The only things I see different is that they only take 10 per day and they may not take the Kmart $5./$50. coupon
Still should be a worthwhile trip!!
I will hopefully find a good list of coupon matchups
and I'll post it later when I get a little time!
Thanks Beautiful2God for making me aware!!

Weekly Groceries...

I had a much better week for groceries than last week!
And if you add in my Walgreens trip
I felt it was a pretty decent week.
This Picture cost me $44.97
At Meijer I spent $23.46 for 29 items
and at Kroger I spent $21.51 for 20 items
At Walgreens I spent $2.30 (in another pic here)
for 13 items or .18 cents per item
And at CVS I spent $1.98 for 2 more gallons of milk
Altogether I spent $49.25 of my $55. Budget
for 64 items or .77 cents per item.
That gives me right around $6. to buy some meat at my local butcher.
I'm low on chicken so I will probably buy 3# of chicken at $1.99/lb and
that will be enough for 3 future meals!
Did you have a good week??
I love questions so if you have one don't be afraid to ask
or think you're bothering me...You're not!!
Just ask!!!

Piggy Paint Review and Giveaway

My daughter was so excited when I told
her Piggy Paint was sending us a surprise nail polish.
When it arrived she ripped the box open and found that we received the gold color. I wasn't so sure but she absolutely LOVED the color. So of course we applied it right away. I have to admit it really was a cute color. Not only did we get the nail color but also a bottle of polish remover.
She had other color on her toes so we removed that first. When we opened the polish remover bottle there was no smell. I'm not kidding - NO SMELL. I hate the smell of normal removers. We put the remover on and it took it off in a jiffy!
I applied the color and then used the hairdryer on low for 1 min. She went about her business playing outside in the dirt (yes she likes dirt), sandbox, and even swimming in our pool.
Just today after 5 days I took a look and it was almost ALL there. Very few chips to even speak of. When I was looking she even mentioned "and we didn't even use the clear stuff"! I thought that's true we didn't use the clear protective coat, looks like we didn't need to either!!
Piggy Paint carries so many colors of polish and they're so cute.

Coupons for the Troops

I've had several of you ask about the
Coupons for Troops program.
So I went to work and did some more research. I slightly looked into it a year ago but then never pursued it. I know I should have been doing this all along. It just became one of those things I wanted to do but never took the time...
I even had them in a box several times....
I guess better late than never!!!
I suggest starting here at Happy Housewife and check out her post. I think you email her for more info. and to be assigned to a base.
Looks easy enough!
She says to make sure that the coupons are less than 3 mo. expired.
Or you can go here and adopt a base.
I chose Sigonella, Sicily because they don't seem to have many on their list.
A few things I learned from this site on sending the coupons ...
** Send them using USPS -- Parcel Post is the cheapest or use Priority Mail with flat rate envelope.
** You will have to fill out Form 2976-A -- use description "coupons", make the value $0.00, and check the "gift box"
** Might need to explain to the post office that the coupons are going to a "position" not a "person"
I think it actually sounds pretty simple to do!
Can't wait to collect enough and send them.
That should get you started!
Let me know if you have more questions about this.
I'll be happy to do a little more research.
If anyone has experience with this feel free to
chime in and give us some tips!

Buy Ahead Method...

Money Saving Mom has a great post here that explains the buy ahead method.
This is exactly what I do too!
I thought I would mention it in case any of you were wondering how I feed my family each week with such an odd assortment of food!

Wordless Wednesday

How's that for a campfire!!!
Don't ask I think my 10 yr. son is a pyro

In His Word Wednesday -- Wisdom

Proverbs Chapter 2 Verses 1-6
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the lord gives wisdom and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Do we search God's word like looking for silver or
hidden treasure. Got me there, I don't...
That's a real challenge to work on!
What has God been teaching you lately. Do you have a prayer request? Do you have a Bible verse that has stuck out to you? Even just words of encouragement.
I would love to hear from you!
Just post on your blog, then come back here and sign the linky below.
(You are welcome to use my banner if you'd like)
You can even just leave your words or prayer request here as a comment. We'd love to know how to pray for you. If you don't want to elaborate just let us know you have an unspoken prayer request. We can still pray for you because God already knows
Hope your week is going great!

2 Timothy Chapter 1

Verses 8-10

So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and and called us to a holy life -- not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus who has destroyed death and has brough life and immortality to light through the gospel.

Nature's Paradise Review and Giveaway!!

is a completely Organic company that makes a great line of baby product as well as many adult products!
No Pesticides, No Parabens, No Artificial Ingredients,
No Synthetic Preservatives, No GMO's,No Fragrance,
No Propylene Glycol, No Phthalates, No Sulfates, No DEA, No Nuts,
No Animal Products
I was thrilled when they sent some of their organic baby product to try out!
Let me just say they smelled heavenly!!
I was sent several of these products in the
coconut scent.
One of the products was the coconut hand sanitizer. My 3yr. old rarely lets me put anything on his hands and he hates to have his hands wiped with a wet wipe. So I tried this and this time he loved it, he kept bringing me the bottle. I would put it on and he would just start smelling them! I was happy because he had clean hands and he's happy with the awesome coconut smell. It was also the perfect size to slip into my purse for shopping days!
I was also sent the Shampoo & Body Wash. Their site says that this is food grade! It's so nice to know I'm not putting chemicals on my children's heads! It cleaned beautifully and was soft and gentle. I also loved that it came in a pump bottle and the soap came out as a foam! So convenient.
The other products I received I passed on to my SIL's to try out since I don't have a little baby anymore. They both just had a baby! One is 3 mo. old and the other is 3 weeks old!
Shannon tried the Baby Organic Coconut Baby Oil. It says it is great for eczema and cradle cap. She tried it on cradle cap and said that after only one application her baby's head was much better. She of course also commented on the wonderful coconut scent!
Genesa tried the Shea Butter Diaper Cream. Her kid's bottoms weren't real bad right now but she still saw improvement and loves the all natural ingredients. Other diaper creams claim to be all natural but arn't. In looking at the ingredients of the Shea Butter it actually is all natural!
I also found out on their website that this product is great for
irritated skin, insect bites and burns.
You can read about many more testimonials on their website here
Nature's Pradise Organics also sells a complete line of adult products.
Including body wash, lotion, shampoo, hand sanitizer, body mist, facial product, they even have a doggie organic line.
I found this company to have great products that I would recommend to anyone who desires to be more organic and use less chemicals!
If you want to order right away you can do so by visiting their site here!
You can even enjoy 15% off your entire purchase
by entering promo code dailydeal
