link up for that too. That way we don't miss any great deals!! *** Have a great Weekend!!!
I know I'm not supposed to be grocery shopping in December BUT.... I had 2 catalina's that would have expired (and we can't have that now can we!!)
I also saw that Kroger had boneless skinless chicken breast on sale for $1.77/ lb. My favorite local butcher is closed for the winter (and I missed the stock up sale). I visited another butcher near me and chicken breast was $4.79 /lb. ahemmm, choke, puke. I don't think so, I mean I know it's good chicken BUT $4.79/lb COME ON, GET REAL!!!!!
Okay Okay I'll quiet down (grin!) So needless to say I'm not paying that, so we're eating Tyson Chicken for the winter! $1.77 per pound I can do!!!! I got 7 packages (about 2 meals per pkg.) and even used some .55/1 MQ so I got about 14 meals for only $20. !!! Having chicken about one time per week, should get us 3-4 months down the road!
I also snagged a free pizza, Ritz for .99 cents, hot chocolate for .50 cents, and manager's special Eckrich hot dogs for .49 cents!
A good trip including 4 gallon milk for only $32.xx
Next week maybe I'll be able to stay out of the store!! ((You just wait Meijer will finally have a spectacular sale, and I'll be forced to go!!!!))
Exodus 9:16 But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
2 Corinthians 5:5 Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.
2 Timothy 1:9 who has saved us and called us to a holy life-- not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time. *** *****

HAVE A GREAT WEDNESDAY!
btw -- if you remember praying for Lenore (my BIL's mom) Shannon at the Peer Review has an awesome update here. It's a real miracle and she's set to come home Dec. 10th after being in the hospital since July!
Yea my mouth is watering too... Especially since the kids polished off the last of these last Friday!! Time for me to bake another batch!!
If I can make these, so can you!! Even if you've never tried before. They're really not that hard or that time consuming. most of the time spent is just allowing them to rise!
And ingredients... All you need is water, yeast, sugar, oil, salt, eggs, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, powdered sugar, vanilla, milk, and butter It may look like a lot but they're all normal cheap everyday ingredients and I bet you have all of them right now!
Okay so now that I've had our pep talk. Here's how to make them!
Since I got the recipe and directions from Amys finer things You mine as well go here and read her excellent post on how to make these WONDERFUL CINNAMON ROLLS!!! (check around here site, she has some other variations too!)
I figured up the cost and I came out with around $2.00-$2.50 for 3 dozen rolls This makes a lot of mouths happy around here and it makes some very cheap breakfasts/snacks!
(Oh just so you know, these freeze really well. So you don't have to eat all 3 dozen within a few days! although it's not hard to do!!(grin))
Not a whole lot going on this week, which is how I like it!! I'm planning a good week of school and maybe a little baking! How's your week looking?!?!?!?
Here's what We're planning to eat this week... ((until something comes up and changes it!!!))) How does that always happen at least 1 night each week?
Monday --Wet Burrito Casserole (recipe here at bottom of post if interested) Tuesday -- Chicken with Rice Stir fry Wednesday -- Tomato Soup with grilled cheese sandwiches Thursday -- Spaghetti Bake, applesauce, and bread Friday -- Homemade Pizza Saturday -- Beef Stew in Crockpot Sunday -- Pizza and Shopping
