Mark chapter 2
Jesus said this to them when they saw Jesus eating with the tax collectors and "sinners".
Verse 17
On hearing this , Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
I think they forgot that we are ALL SINNERS... We are no better... we are just saved by the Grace and Blood of Jesus Christ our savior!!

Groceries this Week
This week had some ok deals. I stayed below my weekly $55. budget and got quite a bit of food!! I stocked up on tomato sauce (6 -32 oz. cans), corn steamers (11 bags), salad dressing (4), taco shells(like I need more!), mayo, frozen pizzas (theres 4 there), and more.
Here's what I got... it's hard to see it all, I will try to improve my picture taking skills. I'm not used to taking pics of groceries. I still can't believe I am!! But I like to see pics of what everyone else gets so maybe you do too!!
Walgreens $6.25
Kroger 16.44
Meijer 26.30
Walmart- Free (I got 11 steamers and 7 buddies for 0) I did get a new toaster and a birthday gift so my total wasn't actually 0---(My toaster finally died after 12 1/2 years...it was a wedding gift!! It had a long life!)
----------------
So my total was $48.99 plus a few dollars a CVS earlier in the week! yay another week in budget.
How did you do this week??

Tidy
Ok I'm back and it's done!! The pics might not look a lot better but trust me the before pics also didn't tell exactly how bad it was!!
I added this pic below because you know when you start in one closet, it kinda grows and you end up doing more. I was able to clear out 2 shelves in my coat/game closet! so I moved a bunch of stuff that I didn't know what to do with out of this pantry and into the game closet.
This is a panty that I started filling up a couple months ago because my other pantry was getting too full to keep organized from all the deals!! Now I'm so excited because I have EMPTY SHELVES.

Yay more deals to get. I wonder how long it will take to fill up this pantry too!!
If you're wondering how to grow your pantry while cutting your grocery budget go here to "Couponing" I will be adding more posts soon. You can also visit moneysavingmom, this is who taught me!!
Hope you're having a great day!!

Tidy--not yet!
I have been following a blog all week called Homespun Heart. She is hosting a week long event called "Making you Home a Haven" I'm a little late but Monday was "Tidy" Day. Okay better late than never!! Well yesterday I took a look at this closet and could hardly believe my eyes. It has gotten way out of hand. It's one of those closets where things get thrown in and then we just close the door. Can't believe I'm showing you this but here it is!!!
Out of sight out of mind...Do you have any of those areas???Please tell me I'm not the only one!!!
Anyway it's time for a cleaning as we move from fall jackets to winter coats, hats, and mittens. I think all the summer sandals are still somewhere on the bottom.
Well I'll be back later to show you how it went!!

Weekly Meals
Here is our Weekly meals that I just planned. This is actually next weeks meals. I usually shop on Fridays and in order to get my grocery lists ready I have to plan a week ahead!!
Monday--Vegetable soup
Tuesday--Ham Steaks, cheesy potatoes, and salad
Wednesday-- pigs in a blanket and fries --Wednesdays is kids night. (the pigs are hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls) I wasn't sure if this is something everyone knew or not!!
Thursday--Cavatini and salad
Friday--leftovers??
Saturday--Homemade Pizza
Sunday-- Whole Fryer Chicken in crockpot, potatoes, veggies
------------------------------------------------------------
I will also add a segment at the bottom. This will tell you what I had to buy this week that I didn't already have on hand to make all our meals!
This week I only had to buy sour cream, eggs, and a bag of potatoes. (Note-- I also need milk but I buy all my milk at CVS with the deals.)
I think this is the goal of couponing. If I can use the majority of my budget for whatever is on sale and I have a coupon for then I can turn our small $55. grocery budget into a lot of food!
feel free to ask questions or leave comments!
