I know it's a little strange for a
picture, but I had to!!
My daughter held up this pencil and said "Mom look what I found."
I said "what?"... She said "A pencil that is sharpened and has an eraser."
A rarity around here!
I'm sure other homeschooling families can share in her excitement!
((I won't mention that less than 5 minutes later, it was gone.
Seriously she couldn't find it anywhere.))
I'm not sure there's a real Tooth Fairy or Santa Clause,
BUT there is a REAL PENCIL THIEF!!!
Does he visit your house too???

I thought it the pencil thief just visited our house! Seriously . . . where do they disappear to? We spend so much time every day looking for pencils (and I have a dedicated pencil drawer in the table - that is always full of all kinds of things - but no pencils!). Great picture of Halee.
too cute!! Happy WW

I didn't know that the mean and evil pencil thief went to homeschool :) He goes to fifth grade in public school as well. It is a rarity that several of my students aren't missing a pencil, an eraser or both :)
We have the same problem even though I don't homeschool! A pencil that is sharpened with an eraser is an amazing sight indeed! :D
You might like my post about pencils in our house. (I homeschool too)

LOL! Every day, my husband calls out from the Dining Room (homeschool central), "Who took my pencil?"
Very cute also I have a giveaway going on right now that you might like and find useful hope you'll stop by and check it out
Erica @But Mommy...
Well I'm glad that the pencil thief isn't exclusive to just our house or just to homeschoolers.
Now how to stop him????
It's not just homeschoolers...we are always looking for pencils that are sharpened and has a eraser for homework. It usually takes longer to find the pencil and eraser than it does to do the homework.:) I thought it was just my kids, I guess not!
Thats funny, we have a pencil thief as well!!
