Ephesians Chapter 4 Verse 29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen.
Wow that is something I need to work on. I try hard not to ever
say bad things (although I fail), but does everything I say build others up or
benefit others. Unfortunately this is a big NO...
Imagine how different this world would be if everything
we said was to build others up. I can start with my hubby and kids!!!

Ugh...I fear that I fail miserably at this! Just this morning...I got really irritated with my daughter, and let her know it! Let's just say, I didn't build her up! Why is it so easy to be uplifting and encouraging to others, but not to your own spouse and children? This verse goes along with 1 Corinthians 13...
