In His Word Wednesday

Psalm 51:10
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

What has God been teaching you lately.
Do you have a prayer request?
Do you have a Bible verse that has stuck out to you?
You can just leave your link, words, or prayer request here as a comment. We'd love to know how to pray for you. If you don't want to elaborate just let us know you have an unspoken prayer request. We can still pray for you because God already knows!!

This is so true. Our strength is not our own, and if we try to muster up some of our own strength, we end up being worn out and discouraged. If we don't allow ourselves to take shelter with Him, we will get worn out and discouraged FAST.

We cannot do things on our own and succeed in life. We may have something happen our way a time or two, but if God isn't in it, it will crumble and fall...

The Lord is so good, why would we not WANT to lean on Him, and let Him help us through life? We are never on our own!

I love those verses Megan!! Great thoughts...I wrote about love today, as that is what God has been challenging me with lately!
I'm praying for God's love to show through me within my own household!! Have a great week!

What a breath of fresh air to run across your blog today. I needed a reminder that "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." It's so easy to fall into the trap of hoping in what we can do and not in what the Lord will do. Thanks for the wake up call today.

Yes it is so easy to fall into that trap! I'm glad we can review awesome verses like this from the Bible!

Thanks everyone for commenting, I love reading them!
