Psalm chapter 4-5

chapter 4 verse 7

You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.

chapter 5 verse 7

But I, by your great mercy, will come into your house; in reverence will I bow down toward your holy temple.

The Chapter 4 Vs 7- I thought they were refering to greater joy than they would have grain and new wine to make alcoholic beverages, which would tend to make a person "happy"... but they are saying in my E-Sword that it is refering to the harvest time. Harvest was a time of great joy, and the Lord brought more joy than the harvest!

And another version of Ch 5 Vs 7, instead of "I will bow down", there are some that say "I will worship" And instead of "in reverence" there are some that say "in thy fear", not with a slave-ish fear, but with reverence and godly fear; with a fear influenced by the multitude of God's mercy, grace, and goodness. And then the Psalmist talks about having so many enemies (vs 8), but it is awesome that the only one he fears is the Lord!
