In His Word Wednesday -- Prayer Request...

Hi everyone! This week I come with a prayer request. A great gal I went to church with growing up, Bethany, lost her mother to cancer last week. Her mom had a very long battle with cancer. She was such a great lady. I just want prayer for the family, I can't imagine how hard it must be.
**
If you read this Bethany, we're praying for you and your family. Hang in there, I know you know your mom's in an awesome place with a new perfect body. I also know that probably doesn't make it a lot easier, but please know we're praying for you!
***
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 4:14
But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.
****************
Now it's your turn... Do you have any prayer requests? Do you have any words of encouragement? Does a Bible verse stand out to you this week??
*****
If so, do a post on your blog and come back here and link up. This way everyone will be able to find you and pray for you, read God's word, or be encouraged!

You can also leave your Bible verse, encouragement, or prayer request as a comment. I'd love to hear from you!

I would like to share a prayer request. A friend at church just found out that her fathers cancer can not be removed and he has been given months to live. She lost her mom almost exactly one year ago and due to circumstances beyond her control lost a foster child she was in the process of adopting after having her in her home for eighteen months. My prayer is that she will have the strength to endure the days ahead. Her name is Elizabeth. Thank you
