Weekly Grocery Trip

***I never knew this before, but you can click on this pic to make it much bigger!***
We decided to brave the cold today... My husband was able to go with and since the school districts didn't cancel school and it was during the daylight we decided it was okay to be out dispite the cold!

The trip went really well! All this for a total of $54.48 Since I spent only pennies at CVS for all our milk and a few other items we stayed in our $55. budget!! YAY (I skipped Walgreens this week).

Here's what we spent
Kroger was $20.07 receipt says saved $16.90 (45%) ..(25 items)
Meijer was $30.31 receipt says saved $48.25...(46 items)
Meijer 2nd trans. $4.10--------saved $14.99...(11 items)
-----------------------
spent $ 54.48------- Got $134.52 worth of food!!

WOW ...I Got 82 items---that's only .67 cents per item!!!! That blows my mind since only about 10 items were under $1.

Feel free to email me or post a comment if you have questions on how to do this!!

How did Kroger go??? I don't see any cereal in your pic, apparently the Kellogg's didn't have that one deal??

No I didn't see any signs or sales to indicate that the cereal deal was on.
I figured it wasn't since it wasn't in the ad...but I was hoping!

You did a great job this week. I could learn a thing or two from you. The best thing I got this week were ten boxes of General Mills cereal for $1.50.
