and who doesn't love FREE crayola?!?!?

Jackie said...

I can't look at a Crayola box without having wonderful memories from my childhood. I loved the big 64 count boxes!

Jackie said...

My kids love Crayola products. When they were younger, they would spend hours coloring and painting with water colors. They would then set up an Art Museum in their bedrooms. Admission Tickets were 5 cents. A small price to pay to see the pleasure on their faces as we admired each piece of art!

April said...

I love Crayola too, a friend of mine who doesn't even have kids had a product I had never even seen before. The Color Wonder PAINT! OMG! I so want (and will) get this for son for his third birthday!

Megan said...

I'm at the party too!!

I'd love to try the color wonder finger paints. My 3 yr old would love them.

Anyone tried them???

MamabearMills said...

i'd love to win that awesome crayola set

Megan said...

April I was typing while you were!

I want the paint bad. I'm getting it for 3 yr. christmas!

MamabearMills said...

we just got the outdoor spray chalk and can't wait to try it! thx to christmas in july swap

Megan said...

Spray chalk that sounds interesting... never heard of it but it sounds like it'd be a hit around here!

MamabearMills said...

64 crayons that rockmy world

Kimber said...

Seriously ... there's just something great about the BIG box of crayons.

Kimber said...

We've been buying crayons now since they're so cheap and melting them! We break them into pea-sized pieces, "bake" at 150* in cupcake tins, and once they've melted down, pull them out, let them cool, and voila! Big, thick, chunky crayons that are easy for my 14-month-old to hold! If you mix a few complimentary colors, you get big "swirly" crayons!

Megan said...

Love it Kimber! that sounds soo fun!! My kids would love it!

Kimber said...

We just got some star-shaped silicone muffin tins at Michaels - using a coupon, of course - and I'm going to "bake" some crayons in them! The five prongs will give lots of nice pointy space to work with! :o) These could make a great party favor, I'm thinking! I bet your kids would enjoy the fun shapes. If you google "meling crayons" you can get tons of ideas, like using cookie cutters instead of muffin tins.

MamabearMills said...

love me some washable markers...best thing that ever happened to my couches! lol

Megan said...

Make airplanes out of popsicle sticks!! My boys would love that!

Megan said...

Crayola Window Markers. Kids would love that. Might give 3 yr old the wrong idea that it's okay to marker all over the window. But it'd be fun!!

andrea v said...

My kids love crayola products

Christmas is coming... fast I'm afraid and with my mind I'll forget all these great ideas!

crayola dreammakers help teachers with learning

Kimber said...

Card making is always fun with little ones. Give them a few art supplies (crayons, markers, stickers) and some paper and scissors, and let them go to town! Fun for them to make, and fun for someone to get in the mail a few days later! I used to do this with my niece while I scrapbooked. She liked feeling like she was able to do "big girl" stuff, and I loved having her there.

MamabearMills said...

crayola is very affordable too. they don't break my BTS bank

MamabearMills said...

i will be featuring recycled crayons for the Back to school bash at my blog! woot woot

We really like coloring with Crayola crayons... other brands and generics just aren't the same.

Ms. Anita said...

We enjoy working puzzles together, but we don't have any Crayola jigsaw puzzles. :)

Wow, unlimited comments?! That's simply amazing!!!

I'm gearing up for back to school by looking at the brand new-to-me curriculum that someone generously placed in my lap. (We homeschool.)

roseinthemorning [at] gmail [dot] com

Ms. Anita said...

I loved the big 64 count boxes, and also the ones with 128 or so... that had the sharpener in the back. :)

roseinthemorning [at] gmail [dot] com

Ms. Anita said...

My kids tend to cause the Crayola boxes to fall apart, so we use empty baby wipe containers (the kind that hold about 80 wipes) to hold crayons. :)

The Allen Family said...

I would never buy crayons if they weren't from crayola!

The Allen Family said...

I'm hoping to figure out how to melt old broken crayons into cool shapes. I did that when I was younger and know my kids would love it!

The Allen Family said...

I love being able to give my 2 year old son Crayola Wonder markers and not worry about him coloring on the bed.

The Allen Family said...

I love pulling out all the different shades of one color and have my son (and me :) draw a picture all in blue (or whatever color we chose). It really makes fun pictures. And the huge box of crayola crayons is the only way we could do that.

The Allen Family said...

I've printed off lots of pictures and activity pages from crayola's website for my boys to color in church to keep them quiet.

The Allen Family said...

My son recently got 3D chalk from his grandma. Unfortunately he though that meant whatever he drew would jump up at him. Guess 3D is too difficult a concept for a 3 year old to get. :)

Dolphin Girl said...

My son loves to draw. . .he would have a blast with this pack!

Dolphin Girl said...

Crayola is our favorite brand! They make the best stuff.

andrea v said...

I would love to try the window crayons.

andrea v said...

The more colors the better. I loved the huge box with the sharpener

Kim said...

crayola is the bomb!

Kim said...

do people say 'the bomb' anymore??? I guess now.. they do rule though. :)

Christy Lee said...

What a neat giveaway! Our family does so much for fun - walks and hikes, swimming, horseback riding, riding 4 wheelers and dirtbikes, cooking and baking, playing in the yard, snowboarding and skiing, riding bikes, you name it, we do it! Thanks for the giveaway!

Christy

Christy Lee said...

I remember in school we used to be so competitive over our crayons...the kid with the biggest box of crayolas was the coolest, the more the better...the kids with the bigger boxes had those coveted colors that you didn't get with the 24 count...and when they started putting that crayon sharpener in the back...heaven for a 5th grader!

Christy Lee said...

I went through the fluorescent color stage too, those crayons were so neat! I'm glad I outgrew that though!

I have two girls, 3 years and 18 months. Right now to have fun we enjoy catching bugs and creating. Thanks.

Crayola is the best. We code our presents at Christmas time (6 children) and one of my favorites was buying the huge box of crayolas (I think 96 count) and put a crayon on each present instead of a tag with a name. Then I kept the list of who was which color. Classic!

My kids love to color, paint, marker and just get down and dirty. We love crayola!

Jennifer said...

Shop the sales for back to school and stock up for mid way through the year when the supply runs out.

Jennifer said...

Price match so you don't have to run all around town with 2 kids. Have had a great time with this.

Jennifer said...

If you are a teacher have a rewards card for staples and office depot so you can stock up on items that are normally a limit of 2. You can get up to 25 at staples.

My boys LOVE to color and draw. I think if we set up a permanent table with all things to color and draw, all the time, they would be perfectly content!

Sarah said...

Luckily for back-to-school our wonderful PTA takes care of all costs of back to school items. Which is awesome! SO on all of the great back to school sales, we just get to keep them at home for ourselves to have fun with!

Sarah said...

I love to get on the Crayola website and to use their printables. I recently copied off a bunch of great pages for my son and my niece when we drove from Indiana to Florida. It helped alot!

Sarah said...

Actually from the Crayola site with the printables, I copied off a page that had a map of the states. And I had the kids color each state as we went through it, and we learn which state came next. I think my 4 year old could now tell you how to get from Indiana to Florida!

Sarah said...

I think I would LOVE to try melting crayons into different shapes but just haven't done it yet! I have some great molds to try them in too... Maybe since crayons are getting so cheap again...

Sarah said...

Megan, you are brave for wanting to try the window markers! I don't think I am THAT brave!

When I was younger I always LOVED getting a new box of crayons and trying to keep them as sharp as I could for as long as possible.

The Allen Family said...

My son loves writing his own books. I have a nice collection of books that are only 4 pages long written by him. But the stories and illustrations are priceless.

My boys like using old notebooks and notepads to create a storybook. I have some that I will treasure forever

Sabrina Kay said...

The hardest part for starting back to school for me is that my oldest is going into 7th grade and I thought "Awwww no crayons or markers...he is getting older" BUT guess what is on the supply list. Crayons and Markers. YES!!!!

Natalie PlanetSmarty said...

Love Crayola. Pick me, random org :)

Renee said...

I love Crayola products. My favorite current favorite are the Colorwonder products that are virtually mess free!

Renee said...

I don't know about you but I DESPISE cheap quality crayons that don't color smoothly and flake off of the paper. Crayola crayons are superior to all others that I've tried.

Renee said...

I'm pretty sure that Toys R Us is having a big sale this week that involves buy one get one free Crayola products.

Renee said...

Crayola side walk chalk is great too. I haven't tried the 3D chalk but I will when I catch it on clearance at the end of summer :)

Renee said...

My daughter received some Crayola markers from her grandmother that we didn't like. They were from the Crayola Beginnings line, and they were surprisingly hard for her to use. I emailed Crayola that I was disappointed in them, and they apologized and sent me tons of coupons for Crayola products!

Renee said...

Souper Salad (in Chattanooga, TN) gives out Crayola crayons with their kid's menus. I HATE it when restaurants give my daughter the cheap crayons (and almost all of them do, even NICE restaurants) that break and get all over her clothes because they flake off the paper in little colored chunks!

Renee said...

I melt down broken Crayola crayons in the oven in heart-shaped silicon molds to make cute heart crayons for my daughter.

CMC said...

This would be amazing to have for my classroom - thanks for the opportunity!

We make homemade playdough and use koolaid as the coloring. This makes it smell so yummy :)

Liz Mays said...

One thing I have learned through the years is that there is no substitute for Crayola. It's top of the line in quality.

Liz Mays said...

I stock up at the back to school sales on all supplies to last throughout the entire year. I buy extra boxes of Crayola markers and then open them as needed. Heck, I use Crayola markers myself.

We just moved into a house that actually has a yard for my daughter to play in and it's wonderful. We love to go outside and walk around the neighborhood while she rides her bike. We also like to color with chalk on the sidewalk, blow bubbles, play in her kiddie pool, and with her sand and water table she got last summer. Fun times! Cheap, too!

Nancye said...

As you can tell, I keep posting comments because I really want to win those Crayola products! Drawing, painting, etc. were my favorite past times as a child and I am thrilled to be able to pass the love for all things artsy and crafty on to my daughter. Crayola products help me do so; that's why I love them!

Nancye said...

Do any of you let your kids use the Crayola bath tub crayons or markers? We did at the old house, but I'm scared to at our new house. I'm afraid they will leave a stain around my tub! Silly, I know. I'll get over it eventually.
