Our Lord will protect us...
John 17:11
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name -- the name you gave me -- so that they may be one as we are one.
Psalm 41:2
The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.
Psalm 32:7
You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

It's interesting to think about our "foes". Most of us don't have people who are trying to cause us physical harm, so we might think that this verse doesn't apply. But can't so many things be considered "foes" - things that can harm us and bring us down? Discouragement, poor self-esteem, feelings of insecurity. They are our foes, and the Lord has promised to protect us from all that would harm us. What a beautiful thing.
Good thoughts Kimber! Thanks for reminding us how many things can be our "foes".
